V1.2 Released!


Version 1.2 is finally out! New characters, new dungeons, new skills, new everything! There are no new character interaction scenes in this update, though. I'm planning to save those for in-between updates, as writing all the dialogue for the main quests left me a bit burnt out on writing. I hope you'll enjoy it! The full changelog for the game will be available below.

The game now also comes with a scene guide that will tell you where to find all the optional character interactions available at the moment. It's full of character spoilers, so read it at your own risk!


V1.2 Update Notes:

Additions:

⦁ Four new characters have been added! Additional information is available in Nasvi's Library.

⦁ Several new dungeons! Start your adventure nice and easy in the Toy House or brave the gauntlet of Draketail Peak!

⦁ Three new major quests! Pursue the mysterious woman from Passara or discover some shady activity for yourself!

⦁ New skills have been added to existing characters!

⦁ New art! Facesets for the new characters, alongside several new CGs and enemy sprites!

⦁ New challenges! Discover hard alternate routes of the new quests to earn more rewards!

Bugfixes:

⦁ Fixed Focus Fire and Sharpen buffing an enemy rather than the user.

⦁ Fixed Creation Note 5 wrongly stating the subject is in the Gold Dunes.

⦁ Fixed the ship interacting poorly with Conno's Chime.

⦁ Fixed Ferramie's Tactical Retreat removing her from existence

Changes:

⦁ Leg Shot, Rapid Fire, Rapid Jab, and Proactive Shot now deal the same elemental damage as the equipped weapon.

⦁ Stun Jolt and Leg Shot have had their effects swapped to better suit the class they're associated with.

⦁ Nerfed the XP and Gold yields of enemies in Nasvi's Castle.

⦁ The player character now automatically equips their weapon upon selecting a class.

⦁ Weis now recovers 20% of MP instead of 10%.

⦁ Increased the price of the doll in Kanan Item Shop back to 750

⦁ Removed the TP gauge from the main menu, as it served no purpose.

⦁ All basic elemental AoE spells have had their base damage value nerfed. All of them also now cost 15 TP instead of 30 to cast in addition to their MP cost.

⦁ All taunt-based skills now have increased priority.

⦁ The enemy skill Venom Drench now only has a 60% chance of inflicting poison. It also deals slightly less damage.

⦁ Haemo Jellies and Acid Slimes now deal less damage overall.

⦁ Queen Nasvi can now act twice per turn. Dark Favor has been replaced with Intervention until I can find a proper replacement.

⦁ Improved Mahil's Magic Attack gain per level.

⦁ Several changes and additions to the player character classes:

Myrmidon:

⦁ Improved Defense and Magic Defense

⦁ Now has Taunt as a basic skill at level 11

⦁ Shield Overcharge is nerfed slightly and only lasts 3 turns instead of 5.

Marksman:

⦁ Now has two hits on their basic attack

⦁ Several new skills post-20
